SUMMARY:online lecture with norms Mrozinski
DESCRIPTION:Relationship between dog and owner – when training methods reach their limits \nWhen it comes to teaching the (young) dog something new\, it makes sense to use the mechanisms of classical and operant conditioning.\nBut at the latest when dogs show unwanted behavior\, classic dog training quickly reaches its limits. The dogs learn to find gaps and assert themselves or only „function“ if the human in front of the dog recognizes that a critical situation is about to arise. \nMany of the dogs I meet at the shelter know a lot of tricks and tricks\, but don’t know the basics of social interaction. \nThat’s a shame\, because if a pet invites us to social debate\, it’s the dog. \nThis online lecture is about dog education and training   beyond  conditioning\, treats\, clickers and Co. \nThe focus is on the  relationship  between humans and dogs ; the desire to get involved with others\, to share life and to accept and solve conflicts. \nThe principle is amazingly simple. If we understand that our dogs are so intelligent and independent that they can develop their own ideas and achieve their own goals\, we will also find answers to the question of how we should react in certain situations. \nAnd if we are able to be a serious and reliable social partner for our dogs\, then we have already found the solution to a multitude of possible problems. \nSpeaker:\nNorm Mrozinski works as a certified dog trainer according to the guidelines of the Schleswig-Holstein Veterinary Association and as a lecturer\, author for specialist journals\, author of non-fiction books („Sheepdogs as companions“ and „Aggressive behavior in dogs“) and blogger and lives in northern Germany.\nAs a passionate hobby shepherd\, his special preference is for herding and cattle dogs.\nAs the long-standing chairman of an animal protection association\, he also campaigns for dogs that are prone to biting.

SUMMARY:online lecture with Julia Besche and Chris Friedlein
DESCRIPTION:Education\, training or both? \nIf you ask customers of various dog schools\, many state that they would like their relationship with their dog to improve. A closer look reveals that this goal cannot be reliably achieved with classic\, formal training.\nIn this webinar we want to present and discuss ideas for a training that takes a look at the relationship in the context of closeness and distance. Using clear\, practical examples in the form of videos\, this form of dealing with the dog should be made clearer. \nWhat we have in common? We like dogs that are out of the ordinary and a similar look at the relationship between people and their dogs \nSpeakers:\nJulia Besche works full-time as administrator of a professorship in the field of social work at a university in Lower Saxony and as a part-time job as a dog trainer\, certified according to the guidelines of the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Veterinarians. \nChris Friedlein (Canis Familiaris) completed his training at the CANIS Center for Cynology and is a certified dog trainer/head of kennel according to § 11 TSchG.
